Science fiction guests to attend Denver Comic Con this weekend

Father’s Day weekend will be buzzing in Denver for the first Denver Comic Con. The event is being held at the Colorado Convention Center from June 15th through June 17th and is set to be an epic weekend. While the convention is centered on the world of comic books, many of the guests are from the world of science fiction.

James Marsters
Known as Spike on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Angel”, James Marsters has recently made guest appearances on Torchwood and Supernatural. He was also a recurring favorite on “Smallville” as Brainiac.

Cindy Morgan

Helping to make history in “Tron”, Cindy Morgan was part of the first computer-generated film. She portrayed both Yori and Lora the computer programmer.

Bruce Boxleitner

Recently known for his work as John Sheridan in Babylon 5, Bruce Boxleitner will always hold a special place in sci-fi as the main character in “Tron”. He has been an actor in many movies and television shows since the 1970’s and is an amazing addition to the Denver Comic Con guest lineup.

Aaron Douglas

Known to many science fiction fans as Chief Petty Officer Galen Tyrol in “Battlestar Galactica”, Aaron Douglas has appeared in many science fiction programs. He has been seen in “Andromeda”, “The Dead Zone”, “Bionic Woman” and many others. Sci-fi fans will not want to miss Aaron Douglas, “So say we all”.

Colin Ferguson
Currently starring in “Eureka”, Colin Ferguson is a fan favorite that should not be missed. Recently he portrayed himself in the web series “The Guild”.

Jasika Nicole
As Agent Astrid Farnsworth on the hit series Fringe, Jasika Nicole has been a member of one of fandom’s favorite science fiction casts. She will only be attending the convention on Saturday.

Billy West
As a popular voice actor, Billy West was first known from his work on “Ren & Stimpy”. However science fiction fans now know him as Philip J. Fry from “Futurama”.

Tom Kane
While many fans know his voice work from such popular animation programs as “The Powerpuff Girls” and “Kim Possible”, Tom Kane has appeared in many other programs. He is most recently recognizable for his amazing work as Yoda in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”
