What steps will a man take in order to save a lost love? How far will The Doctor go to stop him? “Touched by an Angel” by Jonathan Morris is an epic journey through time and the heart. A book that cannot be put down, this narrative follows the tragic travels of Mark Whitaker. Whovians should not miss the chance to traverse time with this story.

Heartbroken and lost, Mark struggles to find his way in the world after the sudden death of his wife. One October night, he notices something strange in a security monitor. It may be his imagination but the figure on the screen looks like an angel statue. After Mark is presented with a chance to save his wife, will he lie to The Doctor just to hold her again? Even as Weeping Angels follow his every move, Mark will do anything to get her back.

An emotional roller coaster, this book takes the reader through an amazing love story between two friends. The dichotomy of a romance and a terrifying Weeping Angel story propels the reader through this book not wanting to miss a moment. Jonathan Morris’ fluid writing and descriptive detail allows one to become immersed in Mark’s struggle.

“Touched by an Angel” seems to be a perfect story to assist in framing Amy and Rory’s departure on the show. It has been released that their final episode will involve Weeping Angels and not every character will survive. As a romantic, funny and frightfully suspenseful story,
