Denver Comic Con to showcase amazing guests in 2013

The second annual Denver Comic Con is set to take place at the Colorado Convention Center May 31- June 2, 2013. After the amazing turnout last year, hopes are high for this year’s event. The guest list that is slowly being announced shows that the convention will be an event not to be missed.

George Takei

As Hikaru Sulu in the Original “Star Trek” series, George Takei is a fan favorite. He appears throughout the world at conventions, and recently made appearances on “Heroes” and “The Big Bang Theory”. As an advocate for Japanese-American relations and Gay Rights, Takei uses his fame to improve the world.

Stan Lee

Stan “The Man” Lee is considered one of the most important men in comic book history. As a creator/ co-creator of many of the most beloved comic book characters, Lee has become royalty among fandom. Collaborating with other comic book greats such as Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he was involved with creating or co-creating “Spiderman”, “The Hulk”, “The X-Men”, “The Fantastic Four”, “Thor”, “Iron Man” and many other amazing characters. Stan Lee will be appearing at Denver Comic Con on Sunday.

Wil Wheaton

Most notably known as Wesley Crusher in “Star Trek: The Next Generation”, Wil Wheaton is a film and television actor. Recently he joined the cast of “The Guild” and has become a social media force. A well-known fan of games, he hosts a weekly show called Tabletopthat explores and reviews new games. Wil Wheaton can also be seen on “The Big Bang Theory” playing himself; the on again/ off again arch nemesis of Sheldon Cooper.
