Countdown to Walker Stalker Denver

April showers might bring May flowers, however Denver is in store for so much more this April. With less than a week to go, “Walking Dead” fans in Denver are polishing their boots and counting down the minutes to the very first Walker Stalker Con to be held in the Mile High City.   Taking place April 2-3, 2016, at the National Western Complex, this is set to be a weekend of fun for any fan of the show and the horror genre in general. Between an astonishingly impressive roster of guests, panels and one of a kind experiences, Walker Stalker Denver is looking to be a must attend convention for 2016.

 

The main cornerstone of a fan focused convention is the guests in attendance and Walker Stalker Denver does not disappoint. The guest line up is so amazing, it is hard to know which autographs are a must have since they truly all are. Appearing from AMC’s “The Walking Dead” are Lennie James (Morgan), John Carroll Lynch (Eastman), Scott Wilson (Hershel), Michael Cudlitz (Abraham), Josh McDermitt (Eugene), Christian Serratos (Rosita), Michael Rooker (Merle), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), Ross Marquand (Aaron), IronE Singleton (T-Dog), Jordan Woods-Robinson (Eric), Alexandria Breckenridge (Jessie), Tyler James Williams (Noah), Alanna Masterson (Tara), Major Dodson (Sam), Corey Brill (Pete), Dahlia Legault (Francine), Kenric Green (Scott), Madison Lintz (Sophia), Michael Traynor (Nicolas), Seth Gilliam (Father Gabriel), Austin Nichols (Spencer), Lawrence Gilliard Jr. (Bob) and Lew Temple (Axel). Melissa Hutchinson (Clementine) from “Telltale’s The Walking Dead” and author Jay Bonansinga round up the jaw dropping guest list from “The Walking Dead”.

 

In addition to guests from “The Walking Dead” there are guests from “Fear the Walking Dead”, “Z Nation”, “Breaking Bad”, “A Nightmare on Elm Street, and many more. Robert Englund who has filled many childhoods with nightmares as Freddy Kruger will be in attendance along with Michael Zapcic and Ming Chen from AMC’s “Comic Book Men”. Two days may not be enough to see all of the guests that you would like to, however be prepared and purchase photo ops ahead of time on the official website.

 

There are three additional unique events that will be happening at Walker Stalker Denver that fans can participate in for an additional fee:

 

The Walking Dead Experience –Chapter 1 is an adrenaline pumping 30 minute attraction that immerses you into the world of “The Walking Dead”. Your experience is with a small 7 person group on the edge of a small town the night that the outbreak hits and zombies begin their rampage.

 

Zombie Apocalypse Experience is a total immersion experience where you utilize Tactical Laser M4’s to progress through a zombie filled nightmare. This fun attraction is presented by Apocalypse Global.

 

Tate Steinsiek’s ‘Bringing the Dead to Life’ is a demonstration where Steinsiek spends 120 minutes showcasing special effects and cosplay techniques in regards to creating a realistic zombie look. A once in a lifetime presentation where you may attend the event as well as purchase a special package to have your makeup done by Tate Steinsiek at the convention.
