Special guests to attend Star Wars Celebration VI in August

In two months, fanboys and fangirls will converge on a galaxy not so far away.  Star Wars Celebration VI will bring the Empire and Rebels together to pay homage to one of the most popular science fiction franchises in the Milky Way. While traveling to Orlando in August will feel like visiting Tatooine, the special guests scheduled to attend will make the voyage worth losing the Kessel Run.

Joel Aaron

Currently working on “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” television series, Joel Aaron is the Visual Effects Supervisor at Industrial Light and Magic.

Dave Filoni

Not only as the voice of Embo, a good bounty hunter, Dave Filoni is also the Supervising Director for “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” television series. In addition to his role on the series, he was the Director of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” feature film.

Carrie Fisher

Forever linked in fandom to the famous slave costume, Carrie Fisher is the leading female character all little girls look up to. As Princess Leia, Carrie Fisher paved the way for women in Science Fiction. In addition to her momentous role in the “Star Wars” original trilogy, she has made many amazing cameos in such movies as “The Blues Brothers” and “Dogma”. Carrie Fisher is also an accomplished author.

Seth Green

As an actor, television producer, screenwriter and voice over artist, Seth Green has the ability to cross between many fandoms. His iconic role of Oz in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” led to other amazing roles such as Scott Evil in the “Austin Powers” trilogy. Seth Green has warmed the hearts and hurt the heads of America as the voice of Chris Griffin in “Family Guy”. Currently, Seth Green is co-creator, producer and voice actor in “Robot Chicken”.

Ian McDiarmid

Not only the head of the Empire, Ian McDiarmid is an accomplished stage, radio and television actor. He led us all to the dark side with his portrayal or Emperor Palpatine. After the 2004 update of “The Empire Strikes Back”, he has appeared in five of the “Star Wars” movies. Ian McDiarmid has lent his voice to many video games such as “Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron”.

Matthew Senreich

Co-founder of “Robot Chicken”, Matthew Senreich is also a director and screenwriter. Along with Seth Green, he runs the production company Stoopid Monkey. Matthew Senreich also helped to create “Titan Maximum”.

Kevin Smith

He is a director, writer, actor and just all around Renaissance man. As a cult hero, Kevin Smith has not only brought many amazing stories and characters to the screen, he also spends a great amount of time mentoring others to follow in his footsteps. Kevin Smith will be hosting “An Evening with Kevin Smith” during the convention.
